They really are.  The days.  They can be a blur, so as a Mom of three myself, all I can say is documenting them is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

Lifestyle newborn photography is a huge passion of mine.  Documenting those first few days, in your own home…where you play, eat, laugh, sleep, nurse, cry, make memories – there is truly nothing like it.  And here is the real deal…

Your home doesn’t have to be perfect.  It is your home and you want to remember it exactly at it was.  My job is to capture you exactly as YOU are.  As your family is.  So I know it is hard, but don’t stress about your photography session.  Enjoy the process.  When you are choosing your outfits, wear something you love – something you feel beautiful in.  As the Mom – pick your outfit first and then go off that.  If you are wearing a solid color, add a little pattern or color in your children.  You can keep it soft and simple.  Soft blue hues, or pinks are always beautiful in-home.  Add in some texture – lace, corduroy – it really can add dimension to your photos.  But at the end of the day, the main thing – really…is for you to be you.

When you do that, it will all come together beautifully.  Just have fun, laugh, smile and enjoy the process and I will take care of the rest.  Hope you enjoy this in-home lifestyle newborn session.
